FIM Hard Enduro World Championship welcomes Plews Tyres as exclusive tyre partner from 2026 to 2028
The FIM Hard Enduro World Championship (HEWC) is proud to announce a new three-year exclusive tyre partnership with Plews Tyres, running from 2026 through to the end of the 2028 season.
The agreement marks a significant step forward for the championship, strengthening its technical foundation while aligning with a brand that has already proven itself at the very highest level of hard enduro competition.
Hard enduro represents the ultimate test of rider, machine, and equipment. From extreme terrain and long race days to unpredictable conditions, tyre performance plays a critical role in success. The partnership with Plews Tyres ensures that the championship is supported by a brand deeply embedded in the sport and committed to its long-term growth.
Developed in the United Kingdom and refined through elite-level competition, Plews Tyres have already built an impressive championship pedigree. Riders competing on Plews tyres have claimed two FIM Junior Hard Enduro World Championship titles, with James Moore securing the 2025 crown and Mitch Brightmore winning in 2024, both racing on the Plews Tough One tyre.
From 2026 onwards, Plews Tyres will become the exclusive tyre brand licensed to advertise and provide on-site support at all HEWC rounds, offering riders direct access to professional service and race-proven products throughout the season.
Ross Whitehead, HEWC Championship Director, welcomed the partnership as a strategic milestone for the series:
“On behalf of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship, I am delighted to welcome Plews Tyres as an official partner of the series. This is a significant and strategic partnership that reflects the shared values of performance, professionalism, and long-term commitment to hard enduro at the very highest level.”
“Plews Tyres have demonstrated an unwavering dedication to the sport, and their decision to invest directly into the championship speaks volumes about their belief in its future and global standing. Hard enduro is the ultimate proving ground, and having a brand with proven championship pedigree exclusively supporting every round further strengthens the credibility and prestige of the series.”

As part of the partnership, Plews Tyres will be present at every round of the 2026 HEWC calendar, offering on-site support, hospitality, rider interaction, and technical assistance throughout the season. Riders will also benefit from free tyre fitting for all pre-orders, allowing them to focus fully on racing.
Fans and competitors can expect the Plews paddock presence to become a hub across race weekends, with rider signings, competitions, giveaways, and a dedicated hospitality area designed to enhance the overall event experience.
Josh Plews, founder of Plews Tyres, highlighted the importance of the partnership:
“Aligning Plews Tyres with the biggest and most prestigious hard enduro championship in the world has long been a personal ambition. This partnership represents a significant investment from our side, but one we are proud to make as we place Plews directly at the heart of the sport we are passionate about.”
The partnership launches alongside a nine-round global calendar for 2026, spanning Europe, Africa, and North America, and reflects HEWC’s continued focus on professionalisation, technical excellence, and long-term stability.
With Plews Tyres now embedded as an exclusive partner, the championship continues to build a unified platform that benefits riders, teams, organisers, and fans alike.
